MONTREAL, TORONTO – Zoom Media – the Canadian division of Zoom Media Group Inc. (the world’s largest fitness digital media company) will thus forward be known as Zoom Active Lifestyle Marketing in English Canada and Zoom Marketing Actif in French Canada focusing solely on their fitness network.

In North America, Zoom Active Lifestyle Marketing’s fitness network operates in all Canadian provinces and over 160 U.S markets.  Zoom Active Lifestyle Marketing’s Fitness network in Canada now delivers over 15 million digital monthly impressions through over 1,500 screens in sight, sound and motion digital media, with even more growth expected in 2015. This new positioning is just part of Zoom Active Lifestyle Marketing’s global branding strategy reflecting a more structured and intensified focus on the fitness consumer.

Zoom has consistently recognized that targeting by lifestyle is more valuable and powerful than narrowing in on generic demographics.  Zoom has invested significantly in recent years to collect data on the active lifestyle consumer with in-depth studies conducted by leading research firms Nielsen and GFK, among others. With unparalleled experience creating brand experiences for fitness enthusiasts in and out of network venues, Zoom is now more than ever in the optimal position to engage the active lifestyle target on behalf of leading brands and clients.

Zoom is also announcing the appointment of Fiona Donahue Paylor to Vice President of Operations and Chris Corvetti to Vice President, Sales and Marketing. Chris has over 17 years of sales, media and marketing experience including positions at Cineplex Media, Mindshare and PHD Canada and will oversee all sales and marketing aspects of Zoom Active Lifestyle Marketing.  Fiona brings over 17 years of experience in the advertising industry and specifically at Zoom, where she has evolved through the ranks, taking on several roles, most recent being GM Operations and services. In her new role, Fiona leads National initiatives for operations, services and venue development.
